As a musician, coach, healer, and educator, I am endlessly fascinated by the intricate layers of being human. I love to study a tradition deeply — it’s history, culture, nuance in phrasing — then to let music express uniquely through me.

I draw from a rich well as a flutist with extensive performance experience including a tour with Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. I have showcased at Folk Alliance International, the National Flute Association, and have presented university workshops across the US. My education includes undergraduate work at The Hartt School of Music with John Wion, graduate work at The California Institute of the Arts, and graduate work at The Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.

I greatly value versatility in my playing and am drawn to many styles of music. I have performed in Classical ensembles, contemporary art music, Irish traditional, and in ceremonial spaces internationally and across the US.

My teaching experience includes working with flutists studying western Classical and Irish traditional music at the California Institute of the Arts, Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, The Ethel Walker School, Pembroke Academy, the Folk Alliance International Music Camp, and 20+ years running a private studio.

In addition to my musical life, I am a devoted yogi, licensed massage therapist, energy worker, and life coach. I created Being In A Body Better to hold these branches of my work, which you can learn about here.

I am a devoted student of nature and plant medicine, having undertaken multiple year-long studies of the natural world through listening, photography, and ritual practice. I have studied under the tutelage of White Birch in a Master Tree Diet and Tobacco in a 3-month Integrated Tobacco Apprenticeship led by Jordan Mockingbird, and am currently pursuing an academic certificate in The Art, Science & Spirituality of Water with Veda Austin.

I’m based in western Massachusetts with my wonderful partner and very sassy cat.
